Adding an outcome

An outcome can be added to the questionnaire flow. This outcome will be shown to leads after they have submitted the contact form or have finished the questionnaire. 

1.  To add an outcome, navigate to the Outcome tab on the top navigation bar.

2.  Here, you will see two tabs for Default outcome and Custom Outcome. Default outcomes are outcomes that are shown for any answers that aren't configured. Default outcomes can also only be added once. Custom outcomes are outcomes that will only show if the lead selects a specific answer or combination of answers. You can add as many custom outcomes as you would like.

3.  To add a Default or Custom outcome, click on the specific tab that you want and then click the +Add Outcome button.

4.  You will see a dropdown list with 3 options - Product, Thank you and URL Redirect.

5.  When a Custom outcome is added to the questionnaire, you will see a line item appear in the list view titled 'Custom Outcome n'  with the number incremented for each custom outcome. You can click into the custom outcome to start editing it.

6.  Thank You outcomes will show a thank you page to the lead. This is useful if you don't want to show an estimate or product/service or if you want to let the lead know that you will be in contact with them directly.

7.  If added, you will be able to add a name for the outcome into the Outcome Name field. This will allow you to keep track of all the outcomes that have been created.

8.  The Header Label field is the main title of the thank you page.

9.  The input of the Message field appears as the subtext under the main header text.

10.  You can also add in Call to Actions buttons to the thank you page so that leads can either book a call, email/call you or be redirected to a webpage. In the thank you outcome, 3 types of call to actions are available - URL, Email and Phone. In the Call to Action section, you will be able to select the type of action you want in the first dropdown box.

11.  The second text field will be the text shown on the button to leads. The default text can be changed to be more appropriate for your business.

12.  In the final text box, enter the URL/email address/phone number.

13.  The last step to make sure that leads can access the call to actions would be to toggle it on. This can be done by toggling the button next to each call to action to on.

14.  URL Redirect outcomes allows you to redirect the lead to a different webpage after they have completed the questionnaire. This can be to your own website, a specific page on your website based on the answers they chose or even to a page where they can purchase the service.

15.  If the URL redirect outcome is added, you will be able to add a name for the outcome into the Outcome Name field. This will allow you to keep track of all the outcomes that have been created.

16.  Next, in the URL Redirect field, you can enter the URL of the page you want to redirect leads to.

17.  Product outcome allows you to show a product or service to the lead after they have completed the questionnaire. To add a product outcome, you must first create a product

18.  If added, you will be able to add a name for the outcome into the Outcome Name field.

19.  Next you will be able to add an Outcome Title. This is the main header text that will show at the top of the products outcome page.

20.  Underneath this, you will be able to add in the Recommended Products. These are the main products that you want to recommend to your leads. The input of the Recommend Title field shows as a small banner on the products added to the Recommended section so that leads can know that they are the brands recommended products.

21.  Next, you can add in the products for the Recommended section by clicking the +Add Products button underneath the Recommended Title field. You will see a popup window with all the products that you have created.

22.  To add a product to the section, click on the product you want to add in. The product will then be added to the view under the button.

23.  You can delete the product from the outcomes by clicking the delete icon and confirming it. This will only remove the product from the outcomes but won't delete the product from your portal.

24.  You can search for a specific product so that it's easier to add it by clicking on the search bar at the top of the products list. You can search by either product code or name. You can also add in multiple products to the recommended section. The order in which you add the products is also the order in which they will show to leads so be sure to add the products in the order that you want the leads to see them.

25.  The next section is the  Related Products section. These are extra products that can be added in to show different options to leads like addon services or other similar products. Similar to the Recommended Products section, you can add in a Related Title. This will show as a sub heading for the related products section and will help to separate the recommended and related sections.

26.  Products can be added to the related section in the same manner as adding products to the Recommended section.

27.  The final section in the Product outcome is the Call to Actions buttons to the product page. In the product outcome, 5 types of call to actions are available - URL, Email, Phone, View Details and Video.

28.  The View Details call to action is best used when you want to show additional information about a product. If the 'Additional Information' section of the product record has been populated, it can only be shown to leads if the View Details call to action is enabled. If View Details is selected and enabled, two additional call to actions will be available.

29.  In the Call to Action section, you will be able to select the type of action you want in the first dropdown box.
